Requirements for authorization

Certification bodies and auditors who wish to audit the compliance with QS requirements at the scheme's participants need an official authorisation trough QS. One of the prerequisites for this is the accreditation in accordance with DIN EN 45011. The application for authorisation of a certification body is examined in an objective procedure.

The prerequisite for the maintenance of the authorisation is, among other things, that responsible staff at the certification body and auditors participate in annual information events and training held by QS. Have a look at the actual overview here.
