Six directors - one goal
The QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH was founded by associations and organisation of nutrition industry in 2001. Animal feed, agriculture, slaughter and deboning companies, meat processing industry and food retailers as well as the CMA Centrale Marketing-Gesellschaft der deutschen Agrarwirtschaft mbH represent, in QS, the companies that are involved in manufacturing meat and meat products. These are:

QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH is the body responsible for the QS assurance system for meat and meat products. In 2004, QS also founded technical societies for poultry, as well as for fruit, vegetables and potatoes. All three societies have a common headquarters based in Bonn. The work of the entire QS system is organised from the QS HQ in Bonn.
