QS Fachgesellschaft Geflügel GmbH
The poultry market is characterised by its complexity. In order to better address the needs of the poultry meat production industry, the QS Fachgesellschaft Geflügel GmbH was founded in 2004. The Gesellschaft sees a focal point of their work in the international organisation of the QS system and the mutual recognition of foreign standards. As a result, the company is also open for further participants at a European level. The international openness of the QS Fachgesellschaft Geflügel GmbH shows itself in the incorporation of the European association of poultry producers and the poultry trade in the advisory board.
The QS Fachgesellschaft Geflügel has its own advisory board. The task of the advisory board is to define the requirements made of production and marketing for the stages of poultry production. Representatives of all stages of the poultry industry and the food retailers come together in the committee to commonly determine the contents of the QS system.
