Sanction procedure
Violations against the system contract or the system manual can be treated in the QS system with sensitive sanctions. The QS system makes use of a clearly defined sanctioning procedure. The sanction council is responsible for handling violations. The council is an independent committee made up of a judge, lawyer and at least one independent expert from the relevant product sector.
During the sanctions proceedings, warnings may be issued, fines imposed and the ultimate exclusion of a company from the system may be decreed.
