As a voluntary initiative of all participating economic levels, QS is the alliance for tested quality assurance at all stages of food production, from the field and barn right through to the shop floor.
We know the history of your food!
Where does a food item come from? Who has handled it? Every stage of production can be traced as a result of the QS system, from the field and barn right through to the shop.
Tested by experts. Valued by consumers.
For meat and meat products, fruit, vegetables and potatoes, the following applies: Only foodstuffs accompanied by the QS system throughout their manufacture are permitted to carry the QS mark. This transparency is valued by consumers who, quite rightly, have an interest in the history of their food. Reliable through and through!
Some 120,000 system partners take responsibility
Every company involved in the production process is monitored regularly to ensure that they maintain the QS criteria with regard to production, transportation, storage and hygiene. Because only when regulations are binding for all, are we capable of ensuring transparency and trust.
