QS test mark
Whether it be consumers, farmers or food retailers: Safe food is important to all. But how do we recognise it? Anyone who wants to be sure should keep an eye out for the foodstuffs marked with the blue QS mark.
So far there is a QS mark for meat and meat products, fresh fruit, vegetables and potatoes. Regardless of whether on sale at discounters, supermarkets or convenience stores: More than 22,000 outlets in the food retail industry stock goods with the QS mark, and the tendency is continuing to rise.
Use of the mark
The QS mark represents the QS system for foodstuffs. It symbolises the cross-stage process and origin securing that extends from growing via processing, and through to marketing. With the conclusion of a system contract, the system partner is authorised to use the QS mark.
In order to ensure the recognition factor for the QS mark, it is necessary that it is used uniformly. The design catalogue describes the specifications that must be adhered to when using the QS mark.
Prior to the printing or manufacture of advertising material, packaging material, signs, letter heads etc. the documents should be presented to QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH for release. You, as system partner, are responsible for ensuring the legal innocuousness of your advertising yourself.
The LOG IN section for mark utilisation contains the printable files of the QS mark. Only system partners have access to this section.
