Quality assurance from the field to the shop
The QS system is a system for a comprehensive quality assurance from the field to the shop, in short: Cross-stage quality assurance. The monitoring of the manufacturing and trading processes starts with the producer, goes through the wholesale process and right down to the food retailer with their fruit and vegetable section. Only products accompanied by the QS system throughout all stages are permitted to carry the blue QS mark. The Qs mark on fresh fruit and vegetable in the food retail industry signalises to the consumers the seamless quality assurance for increased food safety.
