QS is a practical instrument with which requirements can be implemented in a targeted manner.
The legal specifications and requirements of the market partner make far reaching demands of production, transportation, storage and hygiene of threshing and tuber crops. They require documentation of the production stages in order to ensure that the maintenance of the specifications can be traced. The Agriculture/Production guideline both informs in a targeted manner about the requirements of production and supports in the implementation of legal specifications (e.g. fertiliser specifications, traceability and product liability) as well as the requirement for cross compliance. The certification of the production of threshing and tuber crops in the QS system is the answer for farmers who are requested by their trading partners to provide a certificate for this product section.
