QS DATABASE

The QS software platform represents a central element of the QS system. It interacts via a web-based application with the system partners, the certification bodies, the auditors and the laboratories. It is used to save the master data of the participating system partners as well as the results of the QS audits. Password protected sectors enable external partners to enter data pertaining to their functions, to access their data and to make changes and adaptations to the master data.

Another function of the QS software platform is the link to the monitoring programmes such as residue monitoring for fruit, vegetables and potatoes, animal feed monitoring and salmonella monitoring. Within the framework of this module and alongside the master data, laboratory data and analysis results are managed.

Interface to certification bodies

Certification bodies can implement the published interface in order to transfer audit reports to the QS software platform. The document listed below contains a detailed description of the interface for certification bodies.

The interface uses the standardised web service interface XML/SOAP. The description in this document are designed for developers of interfaces for the certification bodies that wish to send their audit reports via the XML/SOAP interface to QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH.

Interface for coordinators for agriculture/producers

The coordinator has the option of carrying out the management of the master data belonging to the companies they unite directly via the QS software platform. This may also be carried out via a defined interface (XML/SOAP) in accordance with QS specifications.

Generally speaking, the entry of master data by the coordinator requires a participation declaration as well as a letter or authorisation or formal obligation.

The interface description was expanded in Version 1.4.2 because companies certified according to GlobalGAP can be registered in the system as of 01.09.2006. In order to be able to transfer the necessary information for the GlobalGAP certification, new messages have been defined.

In addition to the interface description version 1.4.2 dated 01.09.2006, you will also find the extended interfaces specification valid as of 02.05.2007:
