Versatile: Wholesaler

In the supply chain for fruit, vegetables and potatoes, between the shops and the producers are the wholesalers. Within the QS scheme, this stage represents all companies involved after production and prior to sale by the retailer. Thus, agencies, packing stations, exports and logistics centers are included. In addition, companies that produce fresh-cut salads may also be QS certified. Wholesalers that participate in the QS scheme prove to their purchasers that they fulfill the requirements of the QS scheme.
