Reliable and competent

In order to ensure that the QS scheme is able to fulfill its purpose, the participating laboratories must be able to reliably provide comparable analysis results at a uniformly high level.

In order to ensure this high level of laboratory performance, only laboratories recognized by QS may be active within the supply chain. Laboratories apply directly to QS for authorization. The basis prerequisite is accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

In laboratory performance tests and ring trials, QS checks the reliability of the recognized laboratories.
