Feed: The start of more healthy foods

The animal feed industry has, in the truest sense of the word, a key significance: Animal feed in the form of feed material and compound feed are the basis for the production of high-quality animal based foods. The process of manufacturing animal feed must thus live up to traceable, product-specific criteria and quality standards. For this reason, the QS system starts at the feed stage. Since, if the input is of a low quality, then the output will not be good. And for this reason, the animal feed industry has a particular basic significance.

Authorized certification bodies monitor the implementation and compliance with the stage-specific QS criteria in a neutral audit. The time period to the next recertification will depend on the results of the examination. The better the audit, the longer the time period until the next one.
