The QS monitoring program carries out analyses of feed and food items. Here, only those QS recognized laboratories are permitted which have been accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. With the systematic monitoring process, problems can be recognised early and measures can be implemented quickly to eliminate them. There are three monitoring programs established within QS:
- The QS feed monitoring program checks whether legal maximum and QS guideline values are maintained in animal feed.
- The QS salmonella program and reduction program targets the reduction of salmonella entry risk in the pork and poultry meat production.
- In the fruit, vegetable and potato sector, the QS residue monitoring program checks the compliance with the maximum residue values or thresholds for plant protection products and other substances.
