Futtermittelmonitoring

Quality checks from the start

All animal feed producers and traders are obliged to take part in comprehensive investigations of the raw materials or end products within the framework of QS feed monitoring. The aim is to maintain legal maximum amounts and to constantly monitor the QS thresholds for mycotoxins, environmental toxins, plant protective products, micro organisms or heavy metals. In order to ensure that all specifications are adhered to and that the laboratory results are compared at the same level, only QS recognized laboratories may be charged with animal feed monitoring. Details can be found in the Feed monitoring guidelines.

Feed monitoring database module

All sample related data and analysis results must be recorded in and saved to the QS software platform. The set data gives an overview of the nature of the animal feed.

For the purpose of entry into the database module, the fundamentally relevant samples are those that were taken in the company and which are to be taken into account for the QS monitoring plan: The scheme participant creates the sample related data and contracts a laboratory. The laboratory then enters the results of the analysis into the database. The laboratory is only able to view the samples that they have received an examination order for. In the same way, each scheme participant is only able to view the sample related data and results that affect their company.

An overview of the various functionalities of the QS feed monitoring database module can be found in the associated user manual. This is available for download under https://qs-platform.info/QSSoftware/Hilfe.html.
