QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH
QS Qualität und Sicherheit Gmbh was founded on October 13th, 2001. Originally set up as a response to the BSE crisis, the company has been and still is a economically carried initiative of unions and organizations within the food industry. The QS scheme covered all stages involved in the production of meat and meat products. As of 2004, QS has also included two own technical societies for poultry, as well as for fruit, vegetables and potatoes. All three societies have a common headquarters based in Bonn. The work of the entire QS scheme is coordinated from the QS HQ in Bonn.
