The database

SoftwareplattformThe QS database represents a central element of the QS scheme. It is used to enable interaction with scheme participants, the certification bodies, the auditors and the laboratories. It is also used to save the master data of the participating scheme participants as well as the results of the QS audits. Password protected areas enable external partners (e.g. coordinators, laboratories or certification bodies) to enter data pertaining to their functions, to access their data and to make changes and adaptations to the master data.

Access to the database: https://qs-platform.info

Another function of the QS database is the link to the monitoring programs, residue monitoring for fruit, vegetables and potatoes, feed monitoring and salmonella program. In these modules, laboratory data and analysis results are managed alongside the master data.

For certification bodies, coordinators and for feed monitoring there are special interfaces available to the QS database. The interface specifications can be found below.

Certification bodies can implement the published interface in order to transfer audit reports to the QS database. The document below contains a detailed description of the interface for certification bodies.

The interface uses the standardized web service interface XML/SOAP. The descriptions in this document are designed for developers of interfaces for the certification bodies that wish to send their audit reports via the XML/SOAP interface to QS Qualität und Sicherheit GmbH.

The coordinator has the option of carrying out the management of the master data belonging to the companies they unite directly via the QS software platform. This may also be carried out via a defined interface (XML/SOAP) in accordance with QS specifications.

Generally speaking, the entry of master data by the coordinator requires a participation declaration as well as a letter or authorization or formal obligation.

The interface description was expanded in Version 1.4.2 because companies that are certified according to GlobalG.A.P. can also be registered in the system as of 01.09.2006. In order to be able to transfer the necessary information for the GlobalG.A.P. certification, new messages have been defined.

In addition to the interface description version dated 01.09.2006, you will also find the extended interfaces specifications valid as of 02.05.2007 and 01.10.2010:

For a flexible and efficient IT connection of company and laboratory-own applications in the Feed monitoring module, QS has made this XML/SOAP interface available.

The descriptions in these documents are designed for developers of interfaces for animal feed manufacturers, coordinators and laboratories. If you are interested in the implementation, please contact Mrs. Dr. Weber-Jonkheer or Mr. Nowroth for access to a test environment:
