Recall of plant protection products

Individual batches of Folpet-containing plant protection products are currently recalled by several manufacturers in Germany. During the production process several plant protection products had been contaminated with the active substance Captan.

The contaminated plant protection products are not marketable and may not be used. Producers are asked to check their stocks. Producers with Folpet-containing plant protection products should contact the manufacturer of the product in their country for further information. The authorities of EU countries have been informed about the contamination.
