Taking part in the QS scheme

Scheme participants conclude a scheme contract with QS after successfully registering and gaining their certification. This means that they are authorized and, usually, eligible to supply into the QS scheme. They are obliged to maintain the standards defined by QS and to permit these to be monitored by neutral certification bodies. Farms, producers and outlets within the retail trade are incorporated into the scheme via coordinators. The coordinators represent and inform their companies within the QS scheme.
