Interfaces facilitate data transfer

We use a Web application to simplify the input of data into the database as much as possible. In addition, we offer real-time standard interfaces for different user groups. This service is available for, among other groups, certification bodies and agricultural coordinators.

Abattoirs can access the scheme participant search feature and the salmonella monitoring programme via an interface.

There are solutions for laboratories for salmonella and feed monitoring, and veterinarians can supply data to the antibiotics database via an interface.

Software developers can use the adjacent descriptions for the development of interfaces. The standardised Web service interface XML/SOAP forms the basis for this.

Certification bodies can implement the published interface to transmit audit reports to the QS database.

If you have any questions regarding the implementation, please contact Dr. Ragnhild Weber-Jonkheer or Adam Nowroth directly.

Coordinators for agriculture/production can manage the master data of their coordinated businesses via a defined XML/SOAP interface in line with the QS stipulations.

  • The interface description was extended in the version 1.4.2, as it has been possible to register businesses certified against GlobalG.A.P in the QS scheme since 1 September 2006. New messages were defined in order to permit the transmission of the necessary information on GlobalG.A.P. certification.

Here, you can find the extensions to the interface specifications valid from 2 May 2007 or 1 October 2010 to supplement the description of the coordinator interface version 1.4.2 of 1 September 2006:

The salmonella database interface provides functions that allow you to access the data and services of the database. The interface was developed using the SOAP standard protocol and can therefore be used by almost all operating systems and programming languages.

If you are a software developer and want to use the interface, you must be registered. To do this, send an e-mail to service@qualitype.de. Your mail must contain the following information.

  • Name and address of the firm developing the software
  • Name, phone number and e-mail address of the technical contact

To help to improve the gateway so that we can respond to your requests even more effectively, please add the following information to your mail (optional):

  • Operating system used (e.g. Windows, Linux, ...)
  • Programming language used (e.g. Java, C#, ...)
  • SOAP implementation used (e.g. Apache AXIS, .NET, ...)

If you are a software developer and want to use the antibiotics database interface, the veterinarian must have signed a declaration of commitment to perform antibiotics monitoring. If this is the case, you can write an informal e-mail to QS (Thomas May) to request that you be sent the required interface description. Your mail must contain the following information.

Name und Anschrift der Firma, die die Software entwickelt
