1. Sampling plan for the current day of slaughter (number of samples to be taken per deliverer): Query in the QS salmonella database
  2. Sampling: meat sample only from the diaphragm (pillar)
  3. Sample container: Coded sample tubes with identification via assigned number range
  4. Assignment of the samples to the deliverer/farmer must be guaranteed
  5. Sample storage: immediate freezing and proper storage
  6. Sample accompanying data: Entry of sample accompanying data must be carried out before sending the samples
  7. Dispatch to the laboratory: regularly, maximum 14 days after sampling
