The new issue of the QS-Report Fruit, Vegetables, Potatoes has been published and is now available in our media catalogue on the QS website.

One of the topics is a research project on the use of food scanners for selected fruits and vegetables, which is supported by the QS Science Fund. Because: producing and delivering the best quality is the aim of the producers. The subsequent marketing chain should not be impaired so that consumers can buy flawless products. Food scanners already record many quality parameters without damaging the goods.

In a QS workshop, we also wanted to know which methods are suitable for the safe analysis and correct evaluation of microbiological findings, such as EHEC, in laboratories. Read the expert discussion with Dr. Marcus Langen from Dr. Berns Laboratorium.
