Every livestock owner has to prepare himself so that his animals are supplied in the best possible way even if he himself or - due to lack of electricity - the technology fails. All livestock owners in the QS scheme must therefore have an emergency plan. For this purpose QS provides the Supporting Documents Emergency Plan for pig, cattle and poultry farmers which is now even more user-friendly. Because in the revised supporting document, the previously separate animal care list is directly inserted. Who takes care of the animals in an emergency is thus immediately recognizable. This means that all the essential information needed in the event of the farm manager's absence or power failure is available at a glance.
