We are pleased to present you the current issue of the QS-Report Fruit, Vegetables, Potatoes.
Our focus in this report are the residue specifications for the fruit and vegetables production. The diverse trading specifications pose challenges for producers. We spoke to vegetable producer Rudolf Behr and Dr. Britta Michalski from the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) about this. Also in this issue: a company portrait of the QS-certified wholesaler UNIVEG Trade Italy and a risk assessment of Dr. Marcus Langen, veterinary specialist for food, concerning the risks of food bacteria of the Bacillus cereus group for fruit and vegetables.
