The coordinators are the first point of contact for producing businesses. They act as the interface between the businesses and QS, and they answer all questions related to the QS scheme.
Coordinators provide effective support for their businesses: they enter the master data in the QS database and ensure that the independent inspections take place in the businesses in a timely manner. They also organise the residue monitoring for the producing businesses.
Any natural or legal person can become a coordinator. Producer groups or associations, regional organizations, agencies (fruit and vegetables), consultancy services or storage, processing and marketing companies can be approved as a coordinator in the QS scheme.
