Coordinators: pioneers and companions
Coordinators are the first point of contact for livestock farmers and livestock transporters. They act as the link in the chain between the businesses they coordinate and QS. Coordinators are also the direct contacts for farmers who are engaged in crop farming, forage production or grassland management in the QS scheme.
Coordinators provide effective support for the businesses they coordinate and advise the businesses on all questions relating to the QS scheme. They enter the master data in the QS database and make arrangements for the independent inspections in the businesses. The coordinators also support the businesses in their participation in the various monitoring programmes.
You can find the documents for your participation in the QS scheme here:
Becoming a coordinator in the QS scheme
Any natural or legal entity can become a coordinator. Producers' associations or federations, regional organisations or consulting providers can, for example, act as coordinators.
If you would like to become a coordinator, then register via the QS database, where you can also choose a certification body to perform the audit.
