Cattle Farmers

For QS certified cattle farmers, quality assurance has the highest priority: they look after their animals conscientiously and ensure optimal farming conditions. This also includes feeding in line with requirements and the guarantee of high operational hygiene.

QS actively supports cattle farmers in quality assurance with clear and practical guidelines, basis of valuations and self-assessment checklists. Compliance with the QS requirements is checked regularly and independently by qualified, independent auditors.

The fact that demand for QS beef is consistently high is an excellent argument for participation in the QS scheme. QS-livestock farmers in the scheme have advantages when it comes to marketing their products. Moreover, the QS audits help the farmers to prepare for official controls like the specialised statutory or cross-compliance inspections.
